Creative Flare in Erasmus Plus: „Short Story Legacy“
From December 11th to December 15th 2023, our school hosted a special event that celebrated creativity and international collaboration. As part of the Erasmus Plus project, led by Prof. Susana Perez-Galan and Prof. Christina Hagmann, and in partnership with a school from Lanzarote, Spain, our students embarked on an exciting journey titled „Short Story Legacy.“
22 students – a mix of our pupils and a delegation from Spain – share one common goal: to write short stories and compile them into a collective book. After several online-lessons with bestseller authors from the U.S. and Kanada, we started to write our stories on Monday. On Tuesday we had another unique experience: Prof. Stefan Hagmann led a workshop, focusing on the use of Playground AI, an innovative tool that turns text into images. The students had the opportunity to design covers for their short stories using this technology. After three hours, each student had crafted their first trial cover and were able to share the results of our creative concepts coming to life!
